“Long Island City is experiencing dynamic growth. New high-rises are sprouting from a low-rise industrial context. We wanted to respect the historical identity of the area, while harmonizing with the innovative skyline of the future. The richly detailed brick podium anchors the mixed-use residential building and reflects the industrial heritage and craftsmanship of the area."
